Thats right people, I was thinking about giving an award to the patrol that did the most adventurous expedition in camp one.
Then I got to thinking... patrol one didn't (quite) go all the way to Nicholson. Patrol two didn't (couldn't) paddle back from the island. So the only patrol that could possibly get an expeditioning award this year would be...... P3!
Prize (the ability to mock the other two patrols mercilessly) will be awarded at reunion.

I have looked at all peices of evidence proposed here, and as an impartial third (or fourth if you would have it) part, i hereby declare that none of you have won the award.
Thats right. None of you partook in any sort of adventurousness in thine adventures.
Although Erics quote on Oscar Wilde is partly correct, you cant win just from someone awesome saying you won.
* Chuck Norris being the only exception acos he ish teh schmekz
So yes.
Why? you ask? it is simple. You all had to go places by water on the lakes. The calm, peacful, farmilliar old lakes, bereft o any danger. This, in Cooinda standards, is quite ordinary. The Norm, if you will. In camp two, the only water sport that was encountered, was in the treacherous Nicholson and Micthell rivers, well known for their man eating leeches, freshwater sharks, water snakes, mangrove weevils, crocodiles and a rare bread of fearsome estuary drop bears.
*shivers in recolection
so there none of you win, because in comparison to camp two, your all a bunch of sisies and unadventurous sissies at that.
Hmph.

After all that i think Eric's Kazoo playing wins them the award.
I mean........... it was for the lols.
Then again, Me and My Friend Charlie have devised a in depth diagram portraying the events that happened over the 8 days.
I will Post it Soon, it is still under deliberation.

Jaan had me at "erection" and "propelling"; but seriously he's right. I would also like to point out that the word "ample" derives from a latin word meaning "large". Need I say more.
This suggestion from the mysterious "Dantendo" is clearly as outdated as the console his (or her) screenname derives from. This proposal also smacks of the dastardly work of the sinister organization; "The Yacht Club", and as such should be viewed with distrust.
Moreover Patrols 2 and 3 showed little aptitude for the finer things in life, such as kazoo-playing, portaging and paper-boat-making, activities in which the illustrious Patrol 1 not only participated, but excelled.
Anyway, even should this prize be awarded to P3, clearly with P1's charisma and inherent sensuality exemplified by their mascot Roger all Camp 2'ers would support them should the reunion dissolve into a merciless-mock-off.
To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, "Patrol One are better...Roger Roger".

Unfortunately, you are both deluding yourselves. Patrol 1 are obviously the most adventurous;
-We chose to go on an expedition longer than the others- so we were more adventurous from the start.
-Even subtracting the bits we were driven, we paddled further than all other patrols anyway.
-Whilst portaging at the thickest bit of the spit could be described as stupid, it nonetheless showed we were willing to try things (i.e. adventurous)
-We were the only patrol to face the confronting realities of the toilet tent, including erection and use of the said tent. The willingness of members of our patrol to erect the tent, despite not having a clue how to do it, was very adventurous. I believe this deserves a prize in itself.
As for the other patrols,
-The impertinence of P3 suggesting they were better than us when they didn't canoe anywhere! They must have felt adventurous in a 19th-century-imperial-explorer kind of way as they gazed from the launch, propelling them effortlessly, comfortably and comparatively quickly to their destination.
-P2 apparently spent their time following some guru around the lakes, showing that they have no personal sense of direction or adventure because they followed somebody else! They also got stranded on possibly the best campsite with the best cooking facilities and ample food- it must have been awful?!!
Hope this helps,
Jaan Butler, upholding the honour of P1.
-Even subtracting the bits we were driven, we paddled further than all other patrols anyway.
Are you trying to make canoe trips sound adventurous?,
Surely they have some credit, but i cant see how a 3 hour trip could be any less adventurous than a 5 hour trip.
uness you fought sea monsters for those hours. Did You?

Again as i have previously stated. The Award goes to the Patrol with the most adventurous Expedition, not the most Adventurous Patrol.
Now. As for the Toilet Situation.
Toilets are in no way Adventerous. Not even in the Comical state of the word. All it proves is that you had to put up a toilet and we didnt. Dont try getting credit for making a tent, thats just silly.
I tried to honour your statement with a coherent response, but i just cant take it seriously.

"-We chose to go on an expedition longer than the others- so we were more adventurous from the start."
Your fighting for what "Should" have happened,
Not what did happen.
If you are making the point that only circumstance made our trip more "adventurous",
Then don't you find it ironic that a straight forward planned trip could be more adventurous than a Multi island expedition, filled with struggle, stormy winds and sex appeal could be less adventurous?
Now if you are going to counter my Point with, "Yes but P1 has a more adventurous state of mind, choosing to go to Nicholson and all".
I will say that you would be contesting the intentions of our Groups. and Not the Expedition. And i may be wrong but the point of this award was to find the most interesting Expedition, not the most adventurous patrol.
"Thats right people, I was thinking about giving an award to the patrol that did the most adventurous expedition in camp one."-dantendo.
I rest my case, Hopefully with enough Shiz so that you get to bored to argue my points.
None The less when i can be bothered i will rebutle the other points.

I have Quarrels with your judgment.
If the Award is truly going to the most "Adventurous",
Expedition then P2 would have succeeded.
We went the most amount of places and fought with the difficulties of a prolonged stay at our last Destination.
We Had the most Diverse and Challenging Venture Obviously, so i hope you can use your direction to Make the right choice.
Don't be a noob.....
