Nicholson River is very different to any other Cooinda site. It is well worth the long hard paddle to get there and patrols often spend two nights to fully enjoy the site. Located a couple of kilometers up the Nicholson River, the site on a grassy embankment of a local farm. The water is a lot fresher and always calm. The scenery is mostly tranquil compared to the wild and open lakes.
Taste the Mulberries but watch out for the cows.
