Camp Cooinda Main Site is where all campers and leaders will begin and end their camps. It is located on the tip of Banksia Peninsula, a spit of land sticking out into Lake Victoria. Surrounded by dense bush on three sides and a sandy beach to the east it is a superb base of operations.

Campers stay in large tents and gather in a large hall for meals and indoor activities. While at Main Site meals are cooked for campers and activities and skills session are organised. Campers can expect to do some of the following: Canoeing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, orienteering, archery, wild games, sports, kite flying, expeditioning and fishing.
