Camp Cooinda is a boating camp with waterfront on a fabulous sandy beach. We offer canoeing, sailing, kayaking, fishing, archery, hiking, campfire cooking and overnight expeditions around the Gippsland Lakes in eastern Victoria, including Cooinda's own island. Camp Cooinda operates camps only in summer school holidays.
Dates for Summer 2011 - 2012
Camp One
Thursday 29 December 2011 to Thursday 5 January 2012
8 days, 7 nights
For ages 12 to 18 years
Cost: $350 plus $70 bus travel*
Camp Two
Tuesday 10 January to Monday 16 January 2012
7 days, 6 nights
For ages 12 to 18 years
Cost: $315 plus $70 bus travel*
* Costs are heavily subsidised to provide low cost camps with full
catering for 7 – 8 days, use of 40 boats, and include overnight expedition
campsite fees. For each camp, Camp Cooinda charters a bus to travel
300km between two pick up points in Melbourne and the campsite.

The Camp Cooinda brochure and application form for the coming 2011-2012 summer camps are now available. Applications open on 1st October and close when each camp reaches the maximum number set to maintain the quality of our program.
